How to create your own webinar

HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN WEBINAR
There are many tools available for hosting webinars — from simple Skype calls to paid services specifically designed for this purpose.
However, the easiest way is to create a webinar broadcast on YouTube and then paste the webinar link into the Wizzylab dashboard on the “Events” page.
In this guide, we will explain how to create a webinar for free.

How to create a video broadcast

To create a broadcast, register an account on YouTube (you will need to create a Google account or use an existing one).
After that, create your own channel — simply select “My channel” in the menu, and YouTube will automatically prompt you to create one if it hasn’t been created yet.

YouTube account setup

To create a broadcast on YouTube:
  1. In your YouTube account, go to YouTube Studio
  2. Open the “Videos” section in the left menu
  3. Go to the “Live” tab and enable live streaming
  4. Complete account verification by receiving a confirmation code via SMS or voice call. Verification may take up to 24 hours.
  5. To create a webinar, click the “Create” button and select “Go live”.

How to embed the live stream player on Wizzylab

In the Wizzylab dashboard, go to “My Products”, create a new event, enable the “Online stream” option in the event settings, and paste the YouTube live stream link.
Users will gain access to the video only after registering for the event on your Wizzylab online school website.
To get the webinar link, go to the “Live” section in your YouTube dashboard and open the stream settings by clicking the pencil icon.
In the opened form, you will see a “Video link” field with a link in the format https://youtu.be/afaOGc9t2fs .
When you open it in a browser, it will transform into a link like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afaOGc9t2fs , which should be pasted into the “Event”.
On the webinar page, you can add the YouTube comments widget to answer questions and collect feedback. Alternatively, you can add comments using the Disqus widget.
After the webinar ends, users who registered for the event will have access to the recorded video.
