How to connect a custom domain or subdomain to Wizzylab

Your Wizzylab account comes with a free subdomain that you can customize (for example, yoursite.wizzylab.com).
If you want to use your own domain instead of a wizzylab.com subdomain (for example, www.yoursite.com or courses.yoursite.com), you’ll need to complete a few simple steps.
Custom domain connection is available starting from the Basic plan.

How to set up your own domain name on Wizzylab

Step 1: Purchase a domain
If you already own a domain, proceed to Step 2. If not, you’ll need to purchase one. We recommend namecheap.com or ukraine.com.ua.
Step 2: Add a CNAME record
Log in to your domain registrar and add a CNAME record for the domain or subdomain you want to use with Wizzylab. The CNAME record tells browsers where to find your website. Add the following values: Record type: CNAME Host / Name: www or a subdomain (courses, academy, learn) Target / Value: sites.wizzylab.com (do not change this) DNS updates may take up to 24 hours.
Step 3: Verify the CNAME record Use the MXToolBox service: https://mxtoolbox.com/CnameLookup.aspx Enter your domain (without https) and click CNAME Lookup. If successful, you should see: Type: CNAME Domain Name: your domain Canonical Name: sites.wizzylab.com
Step 4: Add the domain in Wizzylab Log in to Wizzylab → Settings → Domain Enter your custom domain and click Change domain. DNS updates can take up to 24 hours. If the site does not open after that, contact [email protected] and attach DNS screenshots.

How to access your site without www

If you want your site to work without www, set up a 301 redirect at your domain registrar from mysite.com to www.mysite.com
