How to connect Wizzylab contacts to MailChimp?

Mailchimp is a service for sending emails and creating marketing campaigns for your business.

You can easily integrate Mailchimp with Wizzylab by connecting your Wizzylab contacts to Mailchimp. This way, any contact added from your Wizzylab website (for example, from the “Users” section), as well as new student registrations, will be automatically added to your Mailchimp audience.

To connect Wizzylab contacts to Mailchimp:

1. Sign up — go to the Mailchimp website and click “Sign Up Free” in the top-right corner.

Check your email and activate your account. The account setup process will then begin.
Choose the Free plan.
Enter your first and last name.
Specify the size of your subscriber list by selecting the appropriate range.
Enter your mailing address.
Enter your company name and website URL. If you don’t have a website, you can provide a Facebook or Twitter page.

Next, you need to obtain your Audience ID and API key:

2. Go to the “Audience” section (top menu) and open the “Settings” of this section;

Scroll down and find the “Unique id for audience” field. Copy this ID.

In the top-right corner, go to “Account”, then in the “Extras” menu select “API keys”.

In the window that opens, click “Create A Key”. After the key is created, copy it from the “API key” column.

Go to Wizzylab, open the “Laboratory” section, enable Mailchimp, and enter your API key and Audience ID (Unique id for audience) copied in the previous steps.

All existing contacts from the “Users” section in Wizzylab will be exported to Mailchimp. New users created later (manually or automatically) will also be synced.

When Mailchimp is activated, the following user data from Wizzylab is transferred:

First name
Last name
Email address
